A delegation consisting of representatives of Azerbaijan Insurers Association, Compulsory Insurance Bureau, and leading insurance companies paid a business trip to Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation.
Within the framework of the visit, a meeting was held between Azerbaijani insurers and a delegation consisting of the heads of the All-Russian Union of Insurers and the Russian Association of Automobile Insurers.
It should be noted that Jeyhun Gurbanli, adviser to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Azersigorta" company, a member of the expert group of ASA, also participated in this meeting.
During the meetings held at the head offices of one of the largest Russian insurance companies, "Alfa-strakhovanoe" and "Strakhovoy Dom BCK" companies, they became familiar with the Russian experience of "Calculation of losses based on a single system" and "Unitary regulation", and at the same time, the experience of this experience in Azerbaijan have investigated the possibilities of adaptation to the insurance market. The parties also discussed new priorities for exchanging experiences between the two countries.
Let us also add that the relevant visit was organized within the framework of the Memorandum on Mutual Cooperation signed in 2021 between the Association of Azerbaijan Insurers and the All-Russian Union of Insurers.
