He has more than 30 years of experience in the field of finance. Until 1996, he worked as a department head and a member of the Board of Directors at the International Bank of Azerbaijan. Later, he worked as the deputy general director of HSBC Azerbaijan branch. He started working at the HSBC bank of the Russian Federation in 2002 and worked in the Russian Federation until 2019. He has work experience in financial markets, asset management, direct investments and other areas.
In 2021, he became an adviser to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Azerbaijan Investment Holding. From 2022, he continues to work as an advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of "Azərsığorta".
